The Rhode Island Driving Club, Inc. (RIDC), was established in 1987 by a small group of carriage driving enthusiasts in Foster, Rhode Island. The club has grown since those days of only a dozen members to include members from all over New England, but the RIDC's mission remains the same, to foster and encourage good relations between all horse related organizations, to promote and co-ordinate driving shows and other activities, to formulate publicity and educational programs and other activities in the interest of driving enthusiasts and to promote, encourage and stimulate popular interest in driving and driving horses of any breed.
Our General & Business Meetings are held the second Friday of each month. If we combine the meeting with an activity, that meeting is the Saturday or Sunday after the second Friday.
